I had originally packed half my bug out bag into my carry on but then realised it was way to heavy. So I put most of that stuff in my check in so I could combine it with a smaller kit when I got off the plane. So I settled with putting my survival equipment in a 2L waterproof bag that fits nicely in my carry on. My plan is that once I am on the plane I clip it to my belt so that in an emergency I don't have to grab anything, I just get up and go (well I'll grab my water bottle which will be next to me.) What I like about that is that it keeps everything in one space so I don't have something in my pocket and other in my carryon, that always annoys me when I'm flying asI lose track of things. So I settled on this. It's small, airline approved and contains the essentials of survival
Medical
-Small First Aid Kit (with banana/triangular bandage)

Food/Water
-Water purification tablets
-Water carrier bag
-1L water bottle
-Metal Canteen
-3 Cliff bars

Fire
-Ferro rod
-Lighter
-Cottonballs

Signalling
-Whistle
-Signal Mirror
-Notepad
-Pen
-Torch
-Spare batteries
-Large orange garbage bag

Shelter
-Para-cord bracelet
-Foil Blanket
-Garbage bag

Tools
-Button compass
-Duct-tape
-Snare wire

On me
-Passport
-Boarding Pass
-IPhone 5
-Wallet+Local money
-Watch
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00436470720173770078noreply@blogger.com
